Meet Michael

Michael Edwards is an actor who has dedicated his life to the art of performance. He studied Meisner acting at Playhouse West before moving on to Second City Hollywood where he focused on improvisation and sketch. It was at Second City where Edwards showcased his talents in the successful comedy sketch show “Missed Connections”, which later set the stage for his future work.

Michael is best known for his portrayal of the young pro golfer José de Jesús Rodríguez in the Emmy-nominated long documentary ‘Yellow Brick Road – The Jose Rodriguez Story’, as well as his guest spot on Comedy Central’s WellRED Season 2, and his role as the principal actor in PUP Band’s music video ‘Mathilda’. He has also lent his voice to various audiobooks on ACX/Audible, further demonstrating his versatility and range.

While Michael discovered his passion for acting at a young age and even performed in student films during college, it wasn’t until after graduation that he committed himself to pursuing acting professionally. With his brother by his side, he moved to Los Angeles to begin his career and has since become a respected figure in the industry.

Michael’s talent is widely recognized, with critics noting his impressive range and ability to excel in both comedy and drama. As an artist, he is constantly pushing himself to grow and improve, taking on new challenges and pursuing new opportunities to express his creativity and dedication to the craft of acting.
